Course length: Each module takes about one hour to complete.
Description:
The SRFM introduces rig operations personnel to basic procedures required to properly maintain equipment in order to prevent costly damage. The SRFM covers numerous procedures associated with the following equipment:
- Detroit Diesel Series-60
- Foster 5893R Power Tongs
- Mud Pump
- Hydraulic System
- BOP Accumulator
- Drawworks
This training is entirely simulation-based working with VIRTUAL equipment.
Measurable Outcomes:
Upon successful completion, the Field Maintenance trainee will demonstrate an ability to perform basic maintenance procedures on equipment common to the Service Rig Industry. Note: This course is conducted online and as such there will be no handouts.
