Description:

This training program was designed to meet National Safety Code requirements to reduce the number and severity of collisions. While the course is geared to Service Rigs the material satisfies the requirements for anyone operating commercial equipment on a public highway.

Upon successful completion, the trainee will demonstrate:

An understanding of the regulations governing all carriers on public highways, and requirements to maintain compliance
The Use of securing devices and systems, and the characteristics and limitations of each
How to secure and inspect loads
How to perform pre and post trip inspections
An understanding of the principles of cargo securement
A clear understanding of the regulations around Hours of Service
