Description:

The SRFM introduces rig operations personnel to basic procedures required to properly maintain equipment in order to prevent costly damage. The SRFM covers numerous procedures associated with the following equipment:

Detroit Diesel Series-60
Foster 5893R Power Tongs
Mud Pump
Hydraulic System
BOP Accumulator
Drawworks

This training is entirely simulation-based working with VIRTUAL equipment.

Measurable Outcomes:

Upon successful completion, the Field Maintenance trainee will demonstrate an ability to perform basic maintenance procedures on equipment common to the Service Rig Industry.
